Conferencia del Dr. Hiratsuka en la Universidad Veracruzana "Los Bosques de Canada y su manejoForestal" Nov.21,2007
El Dr. Yasu Hiratsuka del Nothern Forestry Center del Canadian Forestry Service dictó su última conferencia de su visita de colaboración con la Universidad Veracruzana. Asistentes de diversas instituciones, del gobierno federal (CONAFOR), INECOL, estudiantes y diferentes profesionistas involucrados en la investigación forestal, Biólogos, Agrónomos, Sociólogos, etc. discutieron ampliamente la problematica forestal de nuestro país en el marco del manejo forestal de Canadá. Se destacó el importante papel ecológico global del bosque boreal aún por encima de la selva del Amazonas.
El Dr. Hiratsuka y una estudiante de Sociología.
La conferencia se dictó en las instalaciones del Instituto de Genética Forestal de la UJniversidad Veracruzana.
