La reproducción asexual de Micrasterias (Protista:Desmidiaceae)

Desde nuestros tiempos de estudiante fuimos fascinados por la biodiversidad microscópica del agua. De hecho le dedicamos muchas horas de observaciones directas al microscopio, logrando observar en vivo muchos eventos de los ciclos de vidas de organismos microscópicos.
Un evento facinante es la reproducción asexual de Micrasterias un organismo perteneciente al grupo de las "desmidias" (Desmidiaceae) especies que viven suspendidas y flotando en la zona fótica del agua dulce y salada siendo elementos importantes del planckton.
Observaremos en el video como las hemicélulas se van separando y formado una nueva mitad hasta separarse totalmente.

Mi querido Amigo: solo lei el encabezado y me imagino que la vida de este organismo debe ser muy triste, la reproducción asexual no deberia existir, en cambio organismos como las taenias que tienen organos sexuales femeninos y masculinos se deben dar una divertidas increibles. La biologia debe hacer algo para que su reproducción sea sexual, Saludos
